Prior to joining Avolta in 2022, Mario spent nearly a decade at Viking, the world’s leading cruise line. During a period of significant international growth, he built and scaled global recruiting capabilities, while also leading major organizational, cultural, and digital transformation initiatives. His work supported rapid expansion across markets and strengthened Viking’s employer brand and workforce infrastructure worldwide. Earlier in his career, Mario held HR leadership roles across the retail and hospitality sectors in Europe. These experiences laid a strong foundation in people leadership, operational excellence, and cross-cultural workforce management, enabling him to navigate complex, global organizations with diverse employee populations.
At Avolta, Mario is widely recognized for encouraging HR teams to stay curious, embrace innovation, and continuously upskill.
