Michele Zanini is the co-author of the Wall Street Journal bestseller Humanocracy and a leading advocate for reinventing how organisations are led, managed, and structured. His work challenges traditional top-down power hierarchies, arguing that bureaucracy stifles innovation and agility.
As co-founder of the Management Lab (MLab) with Professor Gary Hamel, Michele has spent over a decade helping organisations build bold, entrepreneurial, and adaptive cultures. In 2022, he and Gary launched The New Human Movement, a video series in partnership with Fast Company, featuring over 50 thought leaders reimagining work and management for the future.
Michele’s insights on leadership, organisational change, and management innovation have been featured in Harvard Business Review, Financial Times, McKinsey Quarterly, Fast Company, and Fortune. A sought-after speaker, he has addressed audiences at major conferences, including the Global Peter Drucker Forum.
Previously, Michele was a senior consultant at McKinsey & Company, specialising in strategy and organisational design, and he began his career at the RAND Corporation, focusing on international policy and security strategy.
