João Verdelho is currently responsible for attracting, recruiting, developing, and managing global talent at EDP. With a PhD in Developmental Psychology and several years of business experience, he has been implementing significant changes to enhance the employee experience. These changes include the introduction of a global recruitment, onboarding and internal mobility process; the promotion of a global development mindset , which is based on performance, skills, and agility assessment, and a development experience that can happen anytime, anywhere; as well as succession planning and a global narrative about leadership and people. In addition to his business career, João is also a clinical psychologist and family therapist. He is passionate about human relationships and helping individuals reach their full potential.
