Alexandra Eichberger is Head of Group People Development & Culture at Erste Group, where she leads Learning & Development, Leadership, and Culture & Diversity initiatives across the organization. She is dedicated to fostering a strong learning culture that drives growth and attracts and retains top tech talent for the digital future of banking.
Since July 2023, Alexandra has served as Head of People & Culture at Erste Digital, overseeing all HR topics across Austria, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic for the IT division, which employs over 2,000 experts. She played a key role in enabling a learning-focused environment and shaping talent strategies to support digital transformation.
Alexandra brings extensive experience from previous HR roles at Deutsche Telekom, Magenta Telekom, and A1 Telekom Austria, where she led initiatives in change management, HR excellence, and employer branding. Notably, she contributed to the successful people integration during the T-Mobile and UPC Austria merger and shaped international strategies for attracting tech talent. Her career spans both national and international contexts, providing a strong foundation in strategic HR leadership and organizational development. .
