MARK VAN DONGEN, PHD

Mark is a business savvy solutions provider, who creates strong cooperation relationships across
organizations, countries, and cultures. He has lived and worked in Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, and Saudi Arabia, and bore accountability for HR up to 22.000 employees. Next to his role as CHRO, he is also executive Advisor to female-lead start-ups and professor at the Luxembourg School of Business. He is a certified board director (IMD) and has held multiple board roles, such as in the Chamber of Commerce Trier; ArcelorMittal Cyprus holding, and the Global Leadership Conferences. He ensures his continuous development through world-class business schools, such as London Business School, IMD in Lausanne, and the Wharton school of business, from Pennsylvania. At the latter, he completed his CHRO diploma in 2023.
