About

Lene holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Sciences and a Master of Science in Organizational Psychology and has a broad background in general management and deep HR expertise within global, listed industrial groups.

Her experience spans from leading the integration of two large companies to create a NOK 55 bn group with 24 000 employees and operations in more than 40 countries to leading group wide strategic projects, always acknowledging that strategy is implemented through people.

She has served 8 years on Executive Committees of two different companies, holding roles as EVP HR, Communication & Brand in Yara International ASA, and EVP HR & Integration in Sapa. Currently she is employed by Hydro a leading aluminium and renewable energy company that builds businesses and partnerships for a more sustainable future, where she holds the role as SVP HR & Organization in the company’s recycling business.
