FABIO COLOMBO

Fabio Colombo is an accomplished Human Resources executive renowned for his expertise in change management, business turnaround and strategic leadership, cultivated over more than 20 years in the field. His extensive experience encompasses HR transformation, industrial relations, talent management, organizational design, workforce planning, and future leadership capabilities.​

Fabio Colombo serves as Human Resources Vice President and Executive Director at Beko Europe, the newly established home appliance company founded following an agreement between Beko and Whirlpool Corporation.​

​

Fabio continues to leverage his wealth of experience to drive the integration, culture transformation, organization’s success and growth in the Region.​

​

Since joining Whirlpool Corporation in 2014, Fabio has held diverse HR roles, including Senior Manager of Industrial Operations at the Cassinetta site, Senior Manager of HR Integration for the West commercial areas, and HR Director for UK & Ireland. In 2019, he returned to Regional headquarters as Senior Director Business HR EMEA, overseeing Market Operations, Marketing, Consumer Services, and the Digital Direct to Consumer organization, while actively contributing to key strategic business turnaround projects.​

Fabio has previously worked with multinational corporations such as PPG Industries, Air Liquide, and Lamberti Chemicals, gaining valuable insights from assignments in France, Turkey, and the UK.​

​

He holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris, a Masters in Human Resources and Strategy from LIUC University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Sciences from the Catholic University of Milan. He is actively involved in academia as a member of the Politecnico of Milano’s board of directors, where he is also engaged in the “Human Resources Business Leaders” program at the International POLIMI Graduate School of Management. He is also part of the Board of Directors at MIP – School of Management of Politecnico. Fabio enthusiastically participates in local forums and associations to support the strategic development of future HR leaders globally. ​
